Erin Moriarty Erin Moriarty, a lawyer and journalist, has won numerous awards for her work as a correspondent on 48 Hours Mystery, including nine Emmy Awards, an Overseas Press Club Award, and an Edward R. Murrow Award. She previously won three Gracie Awards for hosting a weekly nationally syndicated radio program. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, the same hometown as slain dancer Catherine Woods, it was she who persuaded Jon and Donna Woods to share their daughter’s story in DEATH OF A DREAM.
